FROM THE DESK OF THE PRESIDENT OF SCABAL
We are all rightly concerned about the worldwide economic and financial crisis, but that should not make us forget the misery in many other parts of our planet, such as war, violence, poverty, epidemics, lack of medical assistance and starvation.
We have always been very impressed by the organization Médecins sans Frontières/Doctors without Borders, in which doctors strive, in very dangerous conditions, often risking their own lives in military conflicts and disease, to build up medical services for people who live in the most abhorrent conditions.
Therefore, Scabal has decided to create a special fund and choose Médecins sans Frontières to benefit from it. In all our discussions with people who work in the social area, it appears that the sine qua non for improvement is PEACE and respect for human beings.

For this unique cloth, Scabal will make a contribution of €50 per metre and the funds collected will be transferred to a special account for Médecins sans Frontières.
